Anya Hindmarch AW14

One day when I shopping online I found a really cute little bag by Anya Hindmarch, then I search for the collection where it's belong.
The collection of Anya Hindmarch AW14 are really interesting.
seems like the collection was inspired by daily foods, like biscuits or cereal.
They are almost made of fancy leather and are very pricy.

The trend of Tartan

TREND: TARTAN FEVER

Scottish, warm, playful and historical all in one. Also chosen by maisons such as Chanel and Saint Laurent, which pretty much makes it the ultimate of trends. It stormed the shows for fall/winter 2013-14 and fast-fashion stores were not late at all to pick it up for you to enjoy in a value-for-money version.

For the Kaiser, Karl Lagerfeld the very Highlands were the theme of his latest Chanelpre-fall collection presented where else but in Edinburg. And as Scotland is directly linked to tartan, the fabric used for the old-time-classic kilts, it was more than generously used in a mix-and-match of prints in warm shades and fabrics, mostly knits, serving the overall “King of The North” feel of the collection.

Hedi Slimane took the fabric downtown, specifically in Seattle, presenting a rather “grunge cross glam – meets punk” collection for the Saint Laurent Paris lover, who defies rules and spends some extra pocket-money on a schoolgirl dress.

A l’Italia, our beloved designer-duo Dolce & Gabbana served royalty in 50 shades of grey plaid right after the golden galore and just before the “blood-bath” of their memorable finale. 60s forms a la “Jackie O” way, and plaid lining because God is in the details. J’adore!

Phoebe Philo revisited the 80s for Celine, bringing along the boxyness of Balenciaga’s work back in his mid-career days. In a pop art mood, she ingeniously lined her plaid outfits with either white or black lines creating walking pieces of Roy Lichtenstein art. Turtle Necks similar to the Claude Montana forms, paired with cute skirts and killer boots completed a look to be copied much all season long.

Moschino has a thing for attention, and attention it got after combining tartan is such an interesting x totally unexpected way. Pops of color, contrasting tartans and embelishments in a decline of the traditional way while actually using it. Not for the light-hearted, it certainly is not the easiest of styles to pick up, which is what’s so charming about it.

The pyjama look met the power forms of the 80s woman in an androgynous collection by hand of talented British designer Stella McCartney, who more than much honored several kinds of plaids for both seperates and coats in light shades for the cold days of winter. Who would resist crawling into a warm nest of style?

If hip had a name, that would be Fausto Puglisi. Undeniably the hottest of steaming, Sicilian designer Fausto is the most stylish people’s favorite (Anna Dello Russo, Coco Rocha etc.) and very tartan’s own master. His modern vision includes golden embelishments put carefully on each and every of his designs, a Puglisi trademark you can’t miss. Just like Moschino, this is a less-mainstream version of the new trend which you will either love or hate.

Yasmin Kianfar. Topshop

"Mass market retailers copying independent designers is nothing new. What is new, however, is having a single (albeit influential) blogger call out a mega-retailer like Topshop for ripping off a design, and having them respond not only appropriately, but almost instantaneously.
Earlier today, Susie Lau of Susie Bubble published a series of tweets accusing Topshop ofknocking off young British designer (and Central St. Martins grad) Yasmin Kianfar.
It’s not the first time I’ve asked high street retailers to take down designs that copy young designers so here goes…

Yasmin Kianfar S/S 11 vs. @Topshop current lazer cut dress?http://tinyurl.com/83c3dpz http://yfrog.com/oe7izicj

Come on @Topshop, @YasminKianfar is too small a designer to be aping. I say, take it down!

Just so you know, I still love you @Topshop and it’s no skin off your back to take down one design misdeed off the site…
And less than two hours later, she posted this update:
Yay @Topshop will be taking down the dress (24 hrs to effect)
Now that’s the kind of response we like to see. We’ve included photos of both Topshop’s and Kianfar’s dresses below, and they’re incredibly similar. Good for Susie for sticking up for young designers — and great for Topshop for listening to her."
